How Do I Get Birds?
Bird purchasing:
- Rental Homing Pigeons are $3. Requests can be made in the survey for a training day and are FCFS.
- Kill pigeons, gamebirds, and ducks may be available for sale.
- Members are welcome to bring their own training birds but measures should be taken to keep them separate from the homing pigeons to limit disease spread and keep homers healthy.
*****After filling out the training survey, the training organizer will contact you with the cost of birds during the week prior to the training day. All bird purchases need to be paid for by Wednesday prior to the training day.
Birds can be paid for via Venmo. Please note “TRN Birds” name date. (Example: “TRN Birds John Smith 01/01/2025”) so that we can easily track who has paid. Note “TRN Donation” for donations to support training days)
